Lesson Material for ICAO Proficiency Training
The lesson material has been created specifically for ICAO English proficiency training. This material is geared towards pilots and controllers who are at an intermediate English level and aim to reach ICAO Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
Listening and Speaking
Authentic audio of ATC RT communications is used extensively to improve the students'
listening abilities.
Optimal groupings of students is used to maximize their speaking experience.
Reading and Comprehension
Even though the ICAO proficiency specifications emphasize listening and speaking,
controllers and pilots are reliant upon reading and comprehension, e.g., pilots
reading taxiway markings.
Part of our lesson material include video presentations and aviation-related handouts.
The lesson material is not solely intended for students to pass an ICAO proficiency exam;
it aims to provide a safer international aviation environment with highly proficient
English speaking air transport personnel.
Aviation English Teaching Material
